Title: All about Quasi-symmetric functions
Abstract: So much is know about symmetric polynomials and symmetric functions. One can wonder what happen if we consider them in non-commutative variables or in anti-commutative variables? Now, it is also important to consider quasi symmetric functions! How much do we know about them? What if we look at the quotients of polynomials rings by the augmented ideal of quasi symmetric functions? (in various kind of variables?) What about the geometry behind all of this?
So many interesting questions. I will explore them and tell you what I know about them.
