Title: An introduction to p-adic VOAs


Abstract:


In this talk we will introduce the basics of VOAs and their p-adic counterparts. Time-permitting, we will then discuss work in progress attempting to establish the surjectivity of the 2-adic character map from the 2-adic Heisenberg algebra onto the space of 2-adic modular forms.
