Work-Integrated Learning and Employer Engagement
Through the support of the Science Career and Cooperative Education Office, we have successfully completed 46 work-integrated learning experiences, with an additional 37 currently in progress. Our employer outreach efforts have far exceeded expectations – engaging with 2,258 employers, far surpassing our initial target of 100.
One of the standout achievements this year was the Actuarial Career Test Drive Program, which provided students with 315 Work-Integrated Learning (WIL) opportunities, offering hands-on exposure to actuarial careers and fostering meaningful industry connections.
