Title: Mass in general relativity
Abstract: Mass is a crucial conserved quantity in general relativity. The seminal works of Schoen-Yau and Witten established the non-negativity of mass, which is now known as the positive mass theorem. Since then, the study of mass has soon evolved as an active research field. In this talk, I will give an overview of this field and discuss recent developments.
Coffee will be served in the same room (HH 305) at 3pm – all are welcome.
