With the help of our Science Career and Cooperative Education office, we have completed 46 work-integrated learning experiences to date, with an additional 37 currently in progress. We have also exceeded our employer outreach targets, reaching out to 2258 employers against a target of 100. We are planning a series of events for the fall and winter, with a significant focus on the Actuarial Student National Association conference in Niagara Falls in January. We are planning to support students’ attendance by providing buses, in collaboration with the Casualty Actuarial Society.
