Roman Viveros-Aguilera is the recipient of the 2012 Distinguished Service Award of the Statistical Society of Canada. The award recognizes Roman’s substantial contributions to the running or welfare of the SSC over a period of several years, as well as his devotion and service to building Canadian Statistics.
