My research is concerned with high Reynolds number fluid flows, both
for incompressible and compressible flows, in particular supersonic flow regime. I am particularly concerned with understanding the
phenomenon of boundary-layer separation using theoretical
(perturbation) and computational methods. I am also interested in
developing techniques for model reduction by means of Proper Orthogonal
Decomposition (POD), uncertainty quantification, numerical techniques for partial differential equations,
computational biomechanics, parallel computing. Recently I have
developed interests in Inverse problems and PDE constrained
optimization involving phase transitions. See my research page
for more details. Here is a copy of my
CV .
