Outremont is a middle-upper class municipality on the island of Montreal and
just west of the Mile-End neighbourhood. The main street to visit is Bernard
street. It's main attractions are the smalls parks and green spaces and
beautiful houses. It's location is to the north-east of the Mount Royal.
Laurier street between Cote St-Catherine and St-Laurent (although east of
Hutchison is not technically in Outremont) for it's high-end restaurants and
shops. Accessible by the 80 bus from Place-des-arts metro or the 51 bus from
Laurier metro station.
Bernard street, west of Park avenue. There's a lot of restaurants (mostly
French) and specialty shops.
- Chao Phraya (Thai) voted one of the best in Montreal, expensive, 50 Laurier
west.
- La Moulerie (French/sea food), 1249 Bernard west. . La Lucarne (French),
very good but a little expensive (but not one of the most expensive), 1030
Laurier west.
- Le Bilboquet (ice cream/frozen yogourt) on Bernard west, near La Moulerie
- Le Bernardin (French), 387 Bernard west, not too bad and not too expensive,
the service is very friendly.
- Le Vaudeville (French) on Bernard.
- Le Petit Gauthier (French), 1265 Bernard west
- L'Invite (French), 1270 Bernard west.
- Paris Beurre (French) on Van Horne west
- L'Hacienda (Mexican) on Van Horne west
- Tonerre de Brest (Breton) on Van Horne west, quite good according to the
critics.
Outremont (not much to see around there though) To go to Bernard street or
Laurier, take the 80 bus from Place des arts.

- Van Horne to the north.
