APPLIED REGRESSION ANALYSIS WITH SAS
The subject matter of this course is the theory of Regression Analysis, and its implementation with SAS. The course focuses on the linear regression model; the least squares method; model fitting and diagnostics; influential analysis; model building; one-way and two-way ANOVA; and applications. By the end of the course, students should be comfortable using SAS for data entry, model fitting and interpretation. They should have a good knowledge of the theory behind linear models, including in the context of regression, analysis of variance and analysis of covariance. Prerequisites include ARTSSCI 2R03 or STATS 2MB3, and familiarity with matrix notation and operations is needed. The course is an antirequisite for STATS 4B03.
