Abstract: In old work with Martin Bays, we looked at Zilber’s project to develop some model theory around the foundations of quantum mechanics. I will try to give a flavour of this work connecting it with insights of Zilber’s and provide a continuous model theoretic basis for the necessary ultralimit of finite-dimensional representations.
