Title: Towards Improving the Integration of Undergraduate Biology and Mathematics Education

Summary: In this seminar, we will discuss the article by Christopher Bergevin that explores different strategies to better prepare undergraduate biology majors for a future of mathematical and quantitative biology work. These strategies include considering mathematics as a science, focusing on critical transitions in student’s careers, and mathematics refresher sessions for biology faculty.
