Title: Nearly Ribbon 2-Knots
Abstract: A 2-knot is a 2-sphere smoothly embedded in the 4-sphere. Ribbon 2-knots are the simplest knotted spheres in multiple ways. Some generalizations of ribbon are homotopy ribbon, 0-slice, and 0-nullbordant. This talk compares these `nearly ribbon’ 2-knots, surveying what is known and finding conjectural evidence for new relationships between them.
