Dynamic Modelling and Analysis of Failures
In Repairable Systems and Software
ABSTRACT:
The reliability and performance of systems or processes depends on the
ability to limit or avoid events having undesirable consequences. For
example, equipment or software failures may stop production or service
processes, leading to losses in productivity and income. Some problems
and statistical methods associated with such processes will be discussed,
with an emphasis on the use of time-varying factors that can be related
to event occurrence. Inference procedures and applications to process
management and software debugging will be considered.
