Braid representatives for knots that minimize the number of simple walks

In a 2021 summer research project, Matthew Shimoda developed sagemath programs to determine simple walks for braids and to find the braid that minimizes the number of simple walks for a given knot. For input, the program uses braid representatives from KnotInfo and Alexander Stoimenov. A gziped folder with the programs and input and output datasets is available
